About this supplement
What Is DIM 100mg?
DIM is 3,3'-diindolylmethane, an indole formed when two molecules of indole-3-carbinol meet stomach acid. Cruciferous vegetables supply the precursor. This one is a softgel holding 100 mg of DIM per serving, suspended in oil rather than pressed dry.
How It Works in the Body
DIM barely dissolves in water, which is the difficulty in delivering it at all. The softgel answers that by never letting it dry out: the indole sits in medium-chain triglycerides, a fat the gut takes up readily.
Quillaja extract, a saponin from the bark of the soap bark tree, keeps the mixture emulsified. Tocotrienols from annatto seed ride along in the same oil.
What It Supports
- Cruciferous chemistry: DIM is what broccoli, cabbage and Brussels sprouts form once they are chopped or chewed, supplied here at 100 mg per serving.
- Glucosinolate chemistry: Glucobrassicin is the parent compound in the vegetable, and an enzyme called myrosinase releases indole-3-carbinol when the leaf is broken.
- Vitamin E from annatto: DeltaGold tocotrienols are delta- and gamma-tocotrienols, members of the vitamin E family, which supports antioxidant defenses.
- An oil base: Medium-chain triglycerides carry the indole, and quillaja saponins hold the mixture together.
Who It May Suit
People who eat few cruciferous vegetables and would rather have that chemistry in a softgel. Anyone who would rather have the indole ready-made than depend on raw brassicas. The shell is bovine gelatin, so this one does not suit vegetarian or vegan eating.
Good To Know
DIM can tint urine a darker yellow or orange, which is harmless. The color in the shell is annatto, the same seed the tocotrienols come from. Talk with your healthcare provider before use, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you take prescription medicine, since the liver handles this indole through conjugation steps it also uses for drugs.

FAQ
Common questions
What is DIM?
DIM is short for 3,3'-diindolylmethane, a molecule of two joined indole rings. It is not something a plant makes directly. Cruciferous vegetables carry a precursor, and the molecule itself only forms after chewing and stomach acid have done their work. Here it is supplied ready-made.
How does the softgel work?
By keeping the indole in oil. DIM is fat-soluble and will not dissolve in water, so it is supplied here in oil rather than pressed dry. Medium-chain triglycerides hold it in solution, quillaja saponins emulsify the mixture, and annatto tocotrienols sit in the same oil alongside it.
What makes this softgel different?
The composition: 100 mg of DIM per serving in one softgel, with DeltaGold tocotrienols from annatto seed alongside it. Those are delta- and gamma-tocotrienols, members of the vitamin E family. The shell is bovine gelatin, colored with annatto from the same seed.
Who is it for?
People who eat few cruciferous vegetables and want that chemistry without the plate of broccoli, and anyone who would rather take a softgel than a tablet. The shell is bovine gelatin, so it does not suit vegetarian or vegan eating, or anyone avoiding beef-derived ingredients.
What should I know before taking it?
DIM can tint urine darker yellow or orange, which is harmless. Talk with your healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you take any prescription medicine, since the liver clears this indole through the same conjugation steps it uses for many drugs.
