About this supplement
What Is Vitamin D Supreme?
A vitamin D3 formula built around what vitamin D works with. Cholecalciferol sits alongside both vitamin K forms, phytonadione from leafy greens and menaquinone-4, plus trans-geranylgeraniol, an oily compound from annatto seed. Per serving: 125 mcg of D3, 1,000 mcg of each K form, 5 mg of geranylgeraniol.
How It Works in the Body
Vitamin D3 is converted twice, first in the liver and then in the kidney, before the finished form tells the intestine to build calcium transporters. Vitamin K has a different job. It is the cofactor for carboxylation, the step that gives certain proteins their calcium-binding grip: osteocalcin in bone, matrix Gla protein in the vessel wall.
Geranylgeraniol belongs to the isoprenoids. Tissues attach its diphosphate form to menadione to make their own menaquinone-4, and use the same unit to anchor signaling proteins to cell membranes.
What It Supports
- Bone: Vitamin K carboxylates osteocalcin, the protein that binds calcium into the bone matrix, which supports bone health.
- Calcium absorption: The finished form of vitamin D switches on the intestinal transporters that carry calcium into the blood.
- Soft tissue: Matrix Gla protein, another vitamin K-dependent protein, supports normal calcium handling in the vessel wall.
- Normal immune function: Immune cells carry vitamin D receptors, so vitamin D plays a role in normal immune function.
- Homemade K2: Geranylgeraniol is the piece tissues attach to menadione when they build their own menaquinone-4.
Who It May Suit
People who want vitamin K in both its plant and animal forms rather than one. Nothing in it is animal-derived: the capsule is cellulose, with microcrystalline cellulose and L-leucine alongside.
Good To Know
Both vitamins are fat-soluble and are absorbed along with dietary fat. Talk with your provider before use if you take warfarin or a similar anticoagulant, since those medicines work by blocking vitamin K. Ask too about a thiazide diuretic or digoxin, because vitamin D changes how much calcium you absorb.

FAQ
Common questions
What is it?
A capsule carrying vitamin D3 with both vitamin K forms and an isoprenoid from annatto. Per serving it lists 125 mcg of cholecalciferol, 1,000 mcg of K1 as phytonadione, 1,000 mcg of K2 as menaquinone-4, and 5 mg of trans-geranylgeraniol.
How does it work?
Vitamin D3 passes through the liver and kidney before the finished form tells the gut to build calcium transporters. Vitamin K acts as a cofactor for carboxylation, the chemical step that lets proteins such as osteocalcin hold calcium. Geranylgeraniol is the side chain tissues use to make menaquinone-4.
What makes this formula different?
A vitamin D product usually pairs D3 with one K vitamer. This one carries K1 and MK-4 at 1,000 mcg each per serving, so both branches of vitamin K are covered, and it adds geranylgeraniol, the isoprenoid tissues use to build MK-4 themselves.
Who is it for?
People who want a substantial amount of vitamin K alongside their D3 rather than a token one, and anyone who eats little in the way of leafy greens, natto or organ meat. Nothing in the capsule is animal-derived, so vegetarian and vegan eating are covered.
What should I know before taking it?
Talk with your provider before use if you take warfarin or another anticoagulant, because those medicines work against vitamin K and this carries a lot of it. Ask as well if you take digoxin or a thiazide diuretic, or if you are pregnant, since vitamin D changes calcium absorption.
