About this supplement
What Is Prenatal Nutrients?
Prenatal Nutrients is a multivitamin built for pregnancy and breastfeeding. Twenty-four nutrients, with the ones that demand rises for at the front: folate in two active forms, iron bound to glycine, iodine, choline, and vitamin D3 alongside vitamin K2.
How It Works in the Body
Pregnancy changes the arithmetic. Blood volume expands, and iron goes into the hemoglobin that carries oxygen through it. Folate and choline both donate methyl groups, the chemistry behind cell division and the building of new tissue. Iodine is the raw material for thyroid hormone, which sets the pace of development.
Calcium, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 work as a set: D3 governs how much calcium is taken up, and K2 activates the proteins that place it in bone.
What It Supports
- Neural tube formation: Folate is required for the fast cell division of the first weeks, when the neural tube closes.
- Oxygen transport: Iron is built into hemoglobin, which moves oxygen through a blood supply that nearly doubles.
- Brain and cell membranes: Choline becomes phosphatidylcholine in membranes and acetylcholine in nerves.
- Bone mineral: Calcium, D3 and K2 together support normal bone mineralization.
Who It May Suit
Made for the stretch from trying to conceive through pregnancy and breastfeeding. It suits people on plant-based diets, who take in less iron and B12 from food, and anyone who prefers folate already in its active form. The capsule is plant-based.
Good To Know
The folate arrives as two forms the body can use directly, 5-MTHF and calcium folinate, rather than as folic acid. Iron is chelated to glycine. Talk with your healthcare provider before use, and keep any product containing iron well away from children, because accidental iron overdose is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in young children.

FAQ
Common questions
What is Prenatal Nutrients?
A prenatal multivitamin and mineral formula. It carries the same broad panel a general multivitamin does, adjusted for pregnancy: more folate, iron, iodine and choline, vitamin D3 at a higher level, and vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 for the calcium side of the formula.
How does it work?
Each nutrient has its own job. Folate and B12 pass methyl groups for cell division. Iron carries oxygen in hemoglobin. Iodine goes into thyroid hormone, which paces development. Choline builds membranes and the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Vitamin D3 and K2 decide how much calcium is absorbed and where it is laid down.
What makes this formula different?
Choline is part of the formula. Folate comes as 5-MTHF and calcium folinate, both already active. Iron is a glycine chelate rather than a sulfate salt. Vitamin K2 is menaquinone-7. Iodine is present as potassium iodide at 225 mcg of iodine per serving.
Who is it for?
People planning a pregnancy, people who are pregnant, and people who are breastfeeding. Demand for iron, iodine, folate and choline stays high through all three. It suits vegetarian and vegan eating, where iron and B12 intake from food tends to run lower.
What should I know before taking it?
Talk with your healthcare provider before use, and tell them everything else you take, since prenatal formulas overlap with other supplements. Keep any iron-containing product away from children; accidental iron overdose is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in young children. Iron can also bind thyroid medication in the gut.
