About this supplement
What Is Omega 3 - Pro Resolving SPM?
Not a standard fish oil. This is a marine lipid concentrate fractionated to gather the hydroxylated derivatives of EPA and DHA: 300 mcg per serving of 18-HEPE, 17-HDHA and 14-HDHA, held inside 600 mg per serving of oil.
How It Works in the Body
Your body makes its own resolution signals, and it makes them in stages. Immune-cell enzymes first attach an oxygen to EPA or DHA. That step yields 18-HEPE from EPA, and 17-HDHA and 14-HDHA from DHA. Further enzymes finish those intermediates into resolvins, protectins and maresins, the molecules that mark the end of an inflammatory episode. This concentrate supplies the intermediates themselves, which is why it is measured in micrograms.
What It Supports
- Inflammatory resolution: The mediators built from these intermediates support a healthy inflammatory response.
- Immune function: Resolution signaling is part of normal immune housekeeping, and these intermediates support it.
- Heart and vessels: The EPA and DHA in the base oil support normal cardiovascular function.
- A standing omega-3 supply: The omega-3 fats alongside the mediators contribute to your long-chain omega-3 intake.
Who It May Suit
People who already eat fish or take a fish oil and want the derivative fraction as well. It suits anyone drawn to the resolution side of omega-3 biology. The lipids are marine and the shell is bovine gelatin, so it is not vegetarian or vegan.
Good To Know
The actives are measured in micrograms because they act as signals rather than as bulk structural fat. Olive oil carries them in the softgel. Talk with your healthcare provider before use if you take an anticoagulant, an antiplatelet drug or aspirin, and during pregnancy or nursing. A fish allergy rules it out.

FAQ
Common questions
What is it?
A fractionated marine lipid concentrate rather than an ordinary fish oil: 600 mg per serving of the concentrate, carrying 300 mcg per serving of the pro-resolving mediator precursors 18-HEPE, 17-HDHA and 14-HDHA, plus 360 mg per serving of omega-3 fatty acids.
How does it work?
Your immune cells make resolution signals from omega-3 fats in two steps. First they attach an oxygen to EPA or DHA, producing 18-HEPE, 17-HDHA or 14-HDHA. Then other enzymes convert those into resolvins, protectins and maresins. This concentrate supplies that first-step molecule ready made.
What makes this formula different?
It is fractionated, not simply concentrated. An ordinary fish oil is counted in milligrams of EPA and DHA; this one is also counted in micrograms of hydroxylated derivatives, a different order of magnitude, because signaling molecules act at tiny amounts. Olive oil is the carrier.
Who is it for?
People who already eat fish or take a fish oil and want the pro-resolving fraction alongside it. It fits pescatarian and omnivorous patterns. It is not vegetarian or vegan, since the lipids are marine and the softgel shell is bovine gelatin.
What should I know before taking it?
Talk with your healthcare provider before use if you take an anticoagulant, an antiplatelet drug or aspirin, since marine lipids can affect platelet clumping. Ask as well if you are pregnant or nursing, or have surgery scheduled. Avoid it if you are allergic to fish.
