What Is Arterosil HP?
Arterosil HP is built on a green seaweed. Monostroma nitidum grows in shallow coastal water in East Asia, where it has long been eaten, and its cell walls are rich in rhamnan sulfate, a sulfated polysaccharide. The blend built on it runs to 900 mg per serving alongside fruit and vegetable extracts.
How It Works in the Body
Blood vessels are not bare on the inside. The cells lining them carry a soft, water-holding layer called the endothelial glycocalyx, built from proteoglycans, glycosaminoglycans and the water bound to them. It is the first thing flowing blood meets.
Rhamnan sulfate is a chain of rhamnose, a plant sugar, carrying sulfate groups — the same structural idea as the sulfated sugars of the glycocalyx. The rest of the blend is polyphenol chemistry: grape seed and skin, green tea leaf, bilberry, olive fruit and a long list of fruits and vegetables.
